We had a full day off shore on Silky Johnson just before Christmas and the bite was on. Started the day, with a few mahi for the coolier within 6 miles from shore, headed out another 20 miles and ran into the spinner dolphin, with loads of Yellowfin tunas in front of them, changed up the spread and ended up 6 for 8 on Yellowfin and 4 for 5 on Mahi. Trolled a little outside the school and raised a sailfish and soon after a blue marlin. Lots of action and a great day of fishing!! Lots of thanks to Mark and his sister Jill Hardy, as well as their parents and Marks wife for the hospitality and the invites for dinner.
